Outline The Highwayman is the latest conversion by the 'Bel and the Dragon' chain, one of CGA Integration's regular clients for restaurant sound. A full refit and extension has produced a relaxing setting for 120 to dine on good food, with friendly service in a country setting. Challenges The country character of the Highwayman spreads dining through a warren of rooms and intimate alcoves, all of which required a pleasant conversational ambience, but complicated sound paths, speaker location and cabling. Music selection reliability was a high priority to ensure a consistent mood complimenting the high quality food. |

Technical EV speakers provided the solution to varied locations, powered by Cloud amps with wall mounted zone controls. Careful tuning and zoning of the system ensured consistently pleasant levels throughout with simple control where needed. A hard drive player with regularly updated playlists keeps the music selection fresh and consistent, achieving the desired mood.
