Outline Interior designers Brinton Wade approached CGA Integration to showcase lighting technology for the interior design show 2005. The show installation featured versatile LED wash technology combined with simple, innovative wall patterns. CGA Integration also provided lighting control for the show centrepiece champagne bar.

Challenges With a limited setup window, the demonstration needed to combine efficiency with clear impact and versatility. Installation also needed to be tightly co-ordinated with other trades in a confined space to a very tight schedule.

Technical Six Thomas LED battens controlled via a QCommander DMX lighting desk provided an eyecatching display of sequenced wall washing. With a power consumption of around 2A per batten, LED systems provide excellent potential for dramatic effects combined with efficiency, low lamp replacement costs and low heat emission.
